This is normal wear and does not affect functionality. Slight discoloration on bottom of copper Stagg will occur when used on gas and electric stoves.
Cleaning: Not dishwasher safe. Wash with warm soapy water. Do not use abrasive soaps, cleansers or scouring pads.
