WHAT IS YOUR ROAST SCHEDULE?
We roast delicious coffee in small batches Monday-Thursday (sometimes Friday). 

CAN I ORDER BEANS ONLINE AND PICKUP AT BAREFOOT CAMPBELL?
Yes! You can place your order online and select "Campbell Cafe Pickup" at checkout or contact purchase@barefootcoffee.com. Please note that we cannot offer any refunds, returns or exchanges unless the wrong coffee was sent. We will email you once your order is ready for pickup at Barefoot Campbell

CAN I ORDER BEANS ONLINE AND PICKUP AT THE ROASTERY?
Currently no, but wholesale accounts may make arrangements to do this.

HOW MUCH IS SHIPPING?
Due to rate increases from our shippers, flat rate shipping is now $4.75 for all roasted bean retail orders within the lower 48 States up to 30 pounds. Barefoot subsidizes the cost of shipping for you to enjoy freshly roasted beans. This rate excludes green beans, merchandise and cold brew.   

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN/CANCELLATION POLICY?
Unfortunately we do not offer returns or exchanges unless the wrong coffee was shipped or you receive damaged goods. Once a subscription or roastery class is processed, we cannot refund money. If your coffee is delayed due to shipping carrier issues, we cannot ship more coffee until the carrier confirms a package is lost. This is especially true when buying coffee with a discount code. 

WHAT IF MY COFFEE IS LOST?
Fedex and USPS require you (the customer) to file a claim if tracking shows the package was delivered but you did not receive it. The carrier sends you a reimbursement if they accept responsibility. This is the carrier's policy, not Barefoot's; any claim we file will be rejected since we are not the recipient.   

If your package was damaged during shipping, the carriers require you (the customer) to make a claim.   

WHEN WILL MY COFFEE BE SHIPPED?
Orders received by 3pm PST will typically ship within the next 2 roast days. Heavy roast volume may cause delays. Orders received Friday-Sunday will ship on Monday or Tuesday (unless there's a holiday). Depending on our roasted coffee availability, we may be able to ship orders on a Friday.

HOW LONG DOES SHIPPING TAKE?
USPS Priority Mail ships in 1-4 business days depending on where in the country you live. Please note we do not control shipping times and USPS is not always reliable even when it says "1 day shipping".

HOW LONG WILL MY COFFEE BE FRESH?
Our beans are shipped in heat sealed bags to maximize freshness. Once opened, the beans will be fresh for several weeks if stored properly. Here is an article on how longs coffee will last.

HOW SHOULD I STORE MY COFFEE?
Light and oxygen are enemies to coffee beans. You can extend the freshness by storing in a cool, dark place and not in the freezer or refrigerator since coffee will absorb flavors around it. Airscapes are perfectly suited to extend the life of your beans. 

ARE OILY BEANS GOOD?
No! Oils should be on the inside of the bean, otherwise they become rancid. Oily coffee typically is the result of over-roasted coffee. Fresh, properly roasted coffee will look dry, not oily or shiny.  

WHY IS SHADE GROWN COFFEE BETTER?
When coffee cherries are grown under the canopy of shade trees, the trees filter carbon dioxide and help keep the soil moist. In addition, they add to the biodiversity of the landscape affecting insects, animals, and birds.
