A veterinarian and farmer, Helio Tutida, decided to carry on the coffee tradition started by his family 80 years ago. He represents the 3rd generation of coffee growers. Located in the Cerrado Mineiro region of Monte Carmelo, the property started out as pasture and was in need of serious development. After a few years, Helio began cultivation and now produces 2,500 bags a year.
Helio has continued to improve the make-up and quality of his coffee, becoming a finalist in this years Best of Cerrado competition.
